Senior Account Executive
Strong communications professional with account management responsibilities needed for growing life science/biopharmaceutical practice. Position requires solid, but growing experience in corporate communications planning and execution, media relations, financial communications, messaging and press release development. Attention to detail and client budgeting/project management required to be successful in this role. Experience in investor relations is a plus and will set you apart.
Qualifications include a seasoned professional increasing responsibility over a 3-5 year period and an ability to manage client relationships. 4-year degree required along with demonstrated agency experience as an SAE/AE. Experience in managing AC/AEs a plus.
LaVoie Group interns work with an innovative account team on key pharma and biotech accounts as well as assisting with our own marketing efforts. Our interns grow professionally through exposure to a wide range of corporate marketing and communications, media relations and investor relations accounts and projects. Responsibilities include providing assistance on a wide range projects, including LG web, email and conference marketing; client service including media list building, database maintenance, press release dissemination, media relations and outreach, investor relations and outreach, and account management. We do ask our interns to help with some office management tasks, too.
Candidates must have strong desire to learn and interest in healthcare/science, an understanding of social media and strong technical/computer skills is required for success in this role.
The position is sponsored through Massachusetts Life Science Program, is offered part time or full time, and is paid. They offer the following two programs:
2-year/Community College/Certificate students must be enrolled in an Associate’s Degree or Certificate program or completed one within the past year (Available now)
4-year college or university students must have or will complete(d) at least their sophomore year the semester before the internship, or have graduated within the past year. (Available May 1st)
