DeScenza will focus on investor relations and corporate communications for the agency’s life science and health care accounts.
DeScenza joins LaVoie Group with more than 20 years of strategic communication and investor relations experience. Prior to joining LaVoie Group, she was the director of corporate planning and communications and investor relations specialist at Ergo Science Corporation. At Ergo Science, she handled the company’s stock splits, liaised between attorneys and board members on various projects, wrote press releases and acted as the company spokesperson, developed IR website content and organized shareholder meetings as well as special events and trade shows. Lisa’s qualifications also include a long list of consultancy positions with industry-leading companies such as Stream International, NovaCare (currently Lyris, Inc.), ImmuLogic Pharmaceutical Corporation and Equity Performance Group.
