Vivian first joined LHS as a public relations intern in November 2015 and was mainly responsible for the agency’s daily marketing management throughout her internship. Upon completion of her internship, she went back to Boston University to finish up her public relations master degree. Vivian returned to LHS in July 2015 as an Assistant Account Executive. On top of agency marketing, she works across investor and public relations accounts to ensure execution is completed on client deliverables.

An Account Executive (AE) is a self-starter who is passionate about life sciences and client services. As an AE, it is expected that you will immerse yourself in our client stories, understanding their business model, product development and/or commercialization strategy, the potential market place and disease indications, competitive landscape, pipeline and the science behind it all.  In addition, it is expected that you will work towards better understanding the biotech/pharmaceutical/health care/medical device/diagnostics industries and compliance / regulatory issues as well as your practice area: public relations, investor relations, corporate communication and/or product marketing.

Public Relations Intern

Are you a recent or soon to be college grad looking to for an opportunity to break into the communications field?  Are you passionate about life sciences and looking for to join an innovative account team in helping clients make their health and science innovations known, understandable and approachable to customer audiences?

With the help of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Internship Challenge, a program that facilitates the placement of students and recent graduates who are considering career opportunities in life sciences, LHS is pleased to offer a 3-month internship opportunity which has the potential to lead into a full-time, permanent account coordinator position.

We are looking for an innovative self-starter with problem solving skills, creativity, ambition, and a strong work ethic. Applicants should have at least one internship in an agency setting as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to inform and educate via written, oral and visual media

Executive Assistant

Be the right hand to our CEO anticipating her needs, thinking critically and offering solutions to problems. She needs an assistant who can conserve her time by prioritizing items that need attention and manage her calendar—booking meetings, conference calls and travel. This opportunity represents the face of the agency, representing the CEO by welcoming visitors, reviewing correspondence, arranging corporate functions; answering questions and coordinating meeting requests directed to the CEO.

We are looking for a detail oriented, self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take action and make things happen. Candidate must possess strong office skills and be comfortable working with C-level executives. A minimum of five years' experience working as an administrator. Agency or related experience in health, technology or life science--both biotech and pharma will set you apart. An ability to work under deadlines and manage time effectively; unflappable personality is important. Fitting into the agency culture, desire to learn and willingness to do whatever it takes to maintain a successful client relationship is the key to the success of this position.
